The European Union does not rule out that the incursion of Russian drones into Polish airspace was deliberate.
“There are signs that this was done intentionally, not by mistake,” wrote EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas on the Bluesky social network.
She considers the incident the most serious violation of European airspace by Russia since the beginning of the war.
“Russia’s war is escalating, not ending. We must raise the price for Moscow, strengthen support for Ukraine, and invest in Europe’s defense,” Kallas stressed.
