US President Donald Trump spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani after the Israeli strikes in Doha, White House press secretary Carolyn Levitt said.
"President Trump also spoke with Prime Minister Netanyahu. The president also spoke with the Emir and Prime Minister of Qatar to thank them for their support and friendship for our country. He assured them that such attacks would not happen again," Levitt told reporters.
The spokeswoman also added that US President Donald Trump's special envoy, Steve Witkoff, had informed Qatari authorities of the impending Israeli attack on behalf of Donald Trump.
