Russia has launched a large-scale airstrike against Ukraine, using more than 800 drones and targeting a government building in Kyiv for the first time. The strikes killed at least two civilians, including a newborn. Several residential buildings were set on fire, and the capital was on an airstrike alert for about 11 hours.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on social media that a total of four people were killed and 44 were injured in the country on Sunday alone.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the Russian military used 810 drones, as well as four ballistic missiles and nine cruise missiles. Most of them were shot down by air defenses.
