US President Donald Trump told reporters that several European leaders will arrive in the United States “on Monday or Tuesday” to discuss the war in Ukraine. Additionally, Trump stated that he intends to speak with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the coming days.
“Well, we’ll see. I mean, we’re having fascinating discussions,” Trump said, answering the question of what the main obstacle to peace is.
“As you know, some leaders from Europe will arrive in our country on Monday or Tuesday, separately, and I think we will resolve this issue. I think we will resolve it. We have to resolve it.”
Trump also said that he would speak with Russian President Vladimir Putin “very soon, in the next few days.”
