There are many issues between the United States and Ukraine on which the countries agree, but sometimes there are issues where their views differ, said US Vice President JD Vance.
"And you know what always irritated me in this relationship: it was not so much the Ukrainian side as the American side, specifically the Joe Biden administration.
Zelensky came to Washington, left with $50 or $100 billion, without any clear purpose, without any real diplomatic work, without a clear idea of how that $100 billion would be spent. And that irritated me much more than the fact that Zelensky was asking Washington for help.
The problem was that the Biden administration had no clear plan for ending the war. There was no convincing concept of how another $100 billion could solve the problem. "The US was just throwing money into the abyss without a real plan to solve the problem, and that made me very nervous," Vance said.
