Peter Navarro, the US President's senior adviser on trade and industry, said on Bloomberg that India could achieve a quarter reduction in US tariffs if it stops buying Russian oil. According to him, the Indian authorities clarify that they do not intend to reconsider their position.
According to Navarro, Washington will continue to pressure Delhi and Beijing to stop buying Russian energy resources.
