At least 8 people, including a child, were killed in another Russian airstrike on Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said. According to him, there may still be people under the rubble. There are dozens of injuries.
"Today's Russian missiles and strike drones are a clear response to all those in the world who have been calling for a ceasefire and real diplomacy for weeks and months. Russia chooses ballistics, not the negotiating table," he added.
He expects, in particular, China's reaction to the current developments. After all, it is the PRC that has repeatedly called for a non-expansion of the war and a ceasefire.
The Ukrainian president also wants to see a reaction from Hungary.
"The death of children should evoke much stronger emotions than anything else. We expect a response from everyone in the world who called for peace, but now is more often silent," the leader noted.
