It was later clarified that two schoolchildren were killed and 14 were injured. According to the police chief, the attacker, a young man in his 20s, shot at children from a window outside the church. He committed suicide.

The alleged perpetrator has no criminal record; it is not known whether he is connected to the school. The man had a rifle, a shotgun, and a pistol, and fired all three weapons.
