Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has thanked US President Donald Trump for his efforts in promoting Armenian-Azerbaijani relations and for the photos he presented to him.
“I sincerely thank President Donald Trump for the historic photos he so graciously presented to me with his personal signature, as well as for the warm words written on them.
I greatly appreciate President Trump’s unwavering support for the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia and for advancing the peace agenda around the world,” Trump wrote on his X page, posting the photos alongside.
