Poland will not pay for Starlink for Ukraine

Polish President Karol Nawrocki has vetoed a law to help Ukrainian refugees, which would also halt the country's aid to other areas of Ukraine.

The Polish Deputy Prime Minister said the decision effectively puts an end to Poland's support for Ukraine's Starlink internet connection. The Ukrainian government's data storage on protected servers is also under threat.

He stressed that such a veto would harm Ukrainians defending their independence, ultimately working in Russia's favor.
