Ukrainian troops launch counterattack near Pokrovsk, says Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Sirsky
The area around Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region has once again become a scene of fierce fighting between Russian and Ukrainian troops. According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff, 24 armed clashes took place there on August 21.
However, Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Sirsky said on Telegram that this time, the Russians did not launch the attack but the Ukrainians. According to him, the Ukrainian armed forces have liberated six settlements.
