Dozens of security officers have been deprived of access to classified information

US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard announced that 37 current and former national security officials have been stripped of their security clearances.

In a document published by Gabbard, which was posted on her X page, the individuals are accused of “politicizing intelligence, falsifying it, leaking classified information without authorization, and/or willful violations of professional ethics standards.”

Recall that back in March, Donald Trump had stripped Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, several other Democrats, and his critics of their security clearances by executive order. Former Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, former members of Congress Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, and New York Attorney General Letitia James, as well as members of Biden’s family, were also affected by the decision.
