Katz approves Gaza City occupation plan

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has approved a plan to capture Gaza City, which was presented to him by Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir.

According to The Times of Israel, the head of the department approved the plan on the morning of August 20, after a night meeting with Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir and the military command, which was dedicated to the plan to occupy Gaza City.

The plan also approved preparations for the relocation of about a million Palestinians from the region. It is reported that the operation to occupy Gaza has been called "Chariots of Gideon II."
