The United States supplies weapons to Ukraine at a 10% surcharge, which European countries pay. US Treasury Secretary Scott Besant announced this on August 19 in an interview with Fox News.
"I think President Trump is very cautious at this point. We sell weapons to the Europeans, who sell them to the Ukrainians, and President Trump takes a 10% surcharge on weapons, so maybe that 10% will cover the cost of air defense," he said.
