US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan had a telephone conversation. They discussed regional issues, including the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The US State Department reported this.
“Rubio and Fidan also discussed the peace talks between Russia and Ukraine. The Secretary and the Foreign Minister agreed on the need to end the war and stop the killing. They also discussed several regional issues, including continued support for peace and stability in Syria, the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and Iran’s nuclear program,” the statement said.
