Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Araghchi described the Armenian-Iranian talks led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian as serious.
According to the minister, the parties had serious discussions on economic cooperation, including trade and investments, the implementation of technical and engineering projects, and cultural cooperation.
“Regarding the discussion of transit and transit routes and the recent events in Washington, the Armenian side provided very detailed explanations and necessary assurances that it is familiar with Iran’s red lines and has always paid attention to them, and will never allow Iran to pose any threat from its territory,” Araghchi noted.
According to the Iranian minister, there is an agreement with the Armenian side that a comprehensive document on strategic cooperation between the two countries will be completed soon.
