Territorial changes are often an integral part of agreements. Lavrov

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said territorial changes are often an integral part of reaching agreements after conflicts.

In an interview with the Rossiya-24 TV channel, Lavrov recalled the words of Finnish President Alexander Stubb about the agreements concluded between the USSR and Finland in 1944, noting that at that time Finland, fighting on the side of Nazi Germany, signed relevant agreements with the Soviet Union.

“Now they have joined the structure that considers Russia an enemy. So, if he means the territorial changes that occurred due to World War II, this is one of its results. Territorial changes are often an integral part of reaching agreements. There are many such examples,” the minister explained.
