Moscow has made concessions from its previous position on the issue of the five Ukrainian regions, said Steve Witkoff, the US president’s special envoy. He noted that the issue of territorial swaps will be discussed with Zelensky at the White House tomorrow.
“It was not discussed at the meeting with Putin,” he said.
Witkoff expressed hope that Washington will organize a trilateral meeting between Russia, the US, and Ukraine.
