US President Donald Trump gave an interview to Fox News after talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Trump, in particular, noted that the possibility of reaching an agreement on the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine now depends on Zelensky and European countries.
“Zelensky must come to terms with the fact that he has a lot to lose in a conflict with Russia. Russia is a powerful country, unlike Ukraine,” he said, advising Kiev to “make a deal.”
According to Trump, significant progress has been made during the talks with Putin.
“There is a fairly high probability of reaching an agreement on the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine. The end of the conflict in Ukraine would be a significant achievement for both Putin and Zelensky.”
Trump also noted that European countries should also participate “a little” in the settlement of the Ukrainian issue.
