Georgian President leaves for Turkey on an official visit

Today, Georgian President Mikheil Ghavelashvili and his wife will leave for an official visit to the Turkish capital Ankara. The presidential administration reported this information.

According to the department, within the framework of the official visit, Mikheil Ghavelashvili, together with the delegation, will be received by the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, at the palace, and an official welcoming ceremony will be held. High-level meetings are planned, after which a joint statement will be made for the media.

“Within the framework of the visit, Mikheil Ghavelashvili will also meet with the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmus.
