Trump's executive order delays high tariffs on Chinese goods for another 90 days

US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order that will delay the implementation of high US tariffs on Chinese goods for another 90 days, a White House official told CNBC.

The order was signed just hours before midnight, when Trump’s tariffs were due to expire.

The delay was an expected outcome of the latest round of talks between US trade negotiators and their Chinese counterparts in Stockholm late last month.
