Australia will recognize the state of Palestine at the UN General Assembly in September, following similar moves by Britain, France, and Canada, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has said.
“The creation of two states is humanity’s best solution to break the cycle of violence in the Middle East and end the conflict, suffering, and hunger in Gaza,” the Australian prime minister said.
