Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that he had a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, during which the latest developments in Ukraine were discussed.
"I had an excellent and detailed conversation with my friend Putin. I thanked him for sharing the latest developments in Ukraine," Modi wrote on his X page.
The Indian Prime Minister noted that during the conversation, progress on the bilateral agenda was discussed, and the commitment further to deepen the Russia-India special and privileged strategic partnership was reaffirmed.
"I look forward to hosting President Putin in India later this year," Modi added.
