Russia and the United States have agreed on the venue for the upcoming meeting between Putin and Trump. This was announced by Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, noting that he would comment on the information later.
Ushakov also reported that Witkoff raised the idea of holding a trilateral meeting between Putin, Trump, and Zelensky, but Moscow left it without comment.
“As for the option of a trilateral meeting, which for some reason was discussed yesterday in Washington, this option was simply mentioned by the American representative. But it was not discussed. The Russian side left this option without comment,” Ushakov emphasized.
According to him, the Russian side proposes to focus entirely on organizing a bilateral meeting.
“We propose, first of all, to focus on preparing a bilateral meeting with Trump, and we believe that the main thing is that this meeting be successful and productive,” he added.
