Trump plans to meet Putin in person next week. NYT

According to sources in Bild, Donald Trump had a telephone conversation with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. Trump said that the dialogue between Wittkoff and Putin was more productive than expected.

At the same time, The New York Times reported that, according to its sources, Trump intends to meet with Putin in person next week. He also plans to organize a trilateral meeting with Putin and Zelensky shortly after.
