Ali Akbar Velayati, an advisor to the Supreme Leader of Iran, has sharply reacted to the “Zangezur Corridor” project. The Iranian official wrote about this on his X page.
“Once again, some self-proclaimed governments, ignoring their own and regional interests, have raised the issue of the “Zangezur Corridor” and are trying in every way to advance their illegal goals in the South Caucasus. I remind you that any state, whether from the region or outside, that tries to repeat its previous failed actions will face a harsh response from Iran,” he wrote.
