The European Union is preparing to impose sanctions on China because Beijing supports the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Politico reported.
According to the newspaper, the EU began discussing sanctions after Reuters launched an investigation in July into the supply of Chinese engines for drones, which were being sold under the guise of refrigeration units.
Fifteen countries have submitted demands to Beijing, but the Chinese authorities have either denied their participation in the supplies or refused to respond.
