Erdogan to visit Ukraine

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Ukraine. The main topic of the visit may be the ratification of the free trade agreement between the countries. This was stated by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey, Nariman Celal.

According to him, the Ukrainian side is currently actively working on organizing the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Ukraine. The personal invitation was conveyed to Erdogan by President Volodymyr Zelensky, and, as the diplomat noted, he confirmed this invitation during a recent meeting with the Turkish leader.

“This visit requires considerable effort, since there are quite a few issues that hinder its implementation,” Celal said.

According to him, the key topic of the visit may be the ratification of the free trade agreement between Ukraine and Turkey. This document is essential for both strategic partnerships and a significant part of Ukrainian business.
