Russian tankers wait off the coast of India

At least four tankers loaded with Russian oil are anchored off the coast of India. This was reported on August 1 by Bloomberg.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump announced a 25% tariff on imports of goods from India due to the country's purchase of Russian energy carriers.

The Achilles and Elyte ships are anchored near Jamnagar. Their unloading at the port of Sikka was scheduled for August 2 and 3. Both tankers are under sanctions by the European Union and Britain. Two other tankers, Destan and Horae, are parked further offshore.
