The death toll from the Russian military strike on Kyiv last night has reached 26, the head of the Kyiv military administration, Timur Tkachenko, said.
On Thursday evening, Tkachenko had reported 16 deaths.
Ukraine’s rescue service said that during the night and morning, rescuers pulled out 10 bodies from the rubble of a residential building in the Svyatoshynskyi district, including a two-year-old child.
Rescue work is continuing at the entrance to the collapsed residential building.
Thus, three children and 23 adults were killed and 159 injured in a massive strike by Russian drones and missiles in Kyiv on the night of July 31.
