The Russian side struck a correctional facility in the Zaporozhye region of Ukraine last night. At least 16 people were killed and 35 were injured in the strike, the head of the regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, said.
“The facilities of the institution were destroyed. Nearby private houses were damaged,” Fedorov wrote on his Telegram channel.
Andriy Yermak, the head of Zelensky’s administration, called it a war crime.
“This is another war crime committed by the Russians, who will not stop unless they are stopped,” he wrote.
