Russian-Ukrainian talks are unlikely to yield results in the near future. Peskov

According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, a possible high-level meeting between Russia and Ukraine should summarize the settlement process and confirm the agreements reached at the expert level.

“The positions of Russia and Ukraine are currently opposite, and it is unlikely that they will be reconciled soon,” Peskov stressed.

Answering the question of whether a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is possible before the end of August, he noted: “Given the complexity of the preparatory work, such a meeting is unlikely to be organized in the next 30 days.”
