Saudi Arabia plans $4 billion investment deals with Syria

Saudi Arabia is set to sign business deals worth 15 billion riyals (about $4 billion) at an investment conference in the Syrian capital Damascus. The conference is being organized by the Saudi Ministry of Investment, which stated that representatives from both the public and private sectors will attend the meeting.

The Saudi delegation is led by Investment Minister Khalid Al Falih, accompanied by more than 120 businessmen. The parties will sign memoranda of understanding in various fields, including energy, education, and healthcare.

The conference will also announce the establishment of a new White Cement factory in the Adra industrial zone in Damascus, which will contribute to Syria's reconstruction.
