Turkish and Azerbaijani Defense Ministers Yaşar Güler and Zakir Hasanov met in Istanbul.
During the meeting, the current state and development prospects of cooperation between the two countries in the military, military-technical, and military-educational spheres were discussed.
The parties exchanged detailed views on regional security and several other issues of mutual interest.
At the end of the meeting, a “Memorandum of Understanding on Strengthening Mutual Military Security” was signed.
