Erdogan had a phone conversation with Starmer

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a phone conversation with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. The leaders discussed the regional and international agenda, including the situation in the Gaza Strip.

Special attention was paid to the purchase of Eurofighter fighter jets, as well as the progress of negotiations on renewing the free trade agreement between Turkey and the United Kingdom. Erdogan expressed hope that work on modernizing the trade agreement would be completed by the end of this year, the Turkish presidential press service reported.
