Larijani conveyed Pezeshkian's message to Putin

Ali Larijani, an advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, conveyed a message from Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to the Russian president during his meeting with Vladimir Putin in Moscow on July 20. As noted by the official representative of the Islamic Republic's Foreign Ministry, Esmail Baghai, the talks were constructive.

"Ali Larijani, as the president's special envoy, conveyed a message and clarified Iran's views on regional development, international issues, and bilateral relations. He held a constructive meeting with the Russian president, during which a wide range of issues were discussed, in particular bilateral relations and the events taking place in the region over the past three to four weeks," the diplomat said.

According to him, Larijani has previously made a similar visit to Russia, and such visits are regular and practical in relations between the two countries.
