UK Defence Secretary John Healy is set to call on the Ramstein-based Contact Group on Ukraine to launch a "50-day campaign" to ramp up military aid to Kiev, The Telegraph reported, citing a statement from the British Ministry of Defence.
"As members of the Contact Group on Ukraine, we must also launch a '50-day campaign' to arm Ukraine on the battlefield and bring Putin to the negotiating table," Healy said in a statement.
As The Telegraph reports, London and Berlin will decide on a large-scale purchase of missiles for Ukraine's air defence systems at a meeting on July 21.
