A senior Iranian security official informed his Armenian counterpart that Tehran's policy remains unchanged, regardless of any changes in the regional geopolitical map, Mehr news agency reported.
It is noted that Ali Akbar Ahmadian, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, stressed in a conversation with Armen Grigoryan, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, that the policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran remains unchanged against any changes in regional geopolitics and considers this valuable position for all regional parties.
According to the Mehr news agency, Ahmadian discussed regional and bilateral issues with Grigoryan during a telephone conversation. Grigoryan presented Ahmadian with the latest developments in negotiations with the Azerbaijani side, emphasizing that Armenia's position on regional transit routes remains unchanged.
Ahmadinejad, for his part, expressed gratitude for Armenia's stance condemning the Israeli regime's attack on Iran and reaffirmed Iran's consistent stance against any changes in the geopolitical landscape of the region. Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations, particularly in the economic sector.
