Israel to send humanitarian aid packages to Druze

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar has ordered the dispatch of 2 million shekels worth of humanitarian aid to Sweida to help the Druze.

The aid, funded by the Foreign Ministry, will include food packages, medical equipment, first aid kits, and medicine.

The ministry did not specify how the aid would reach Sweida, where deadly violence has taken place this week, only saying it would be delivered “in a targeted manner.”
