Britain and Germany to sign mutual defense treaty

Britain and Germany will sign a mutual defense treaty in London today. According to Bloomberg, the agreement is conditioned by two main threats: the growing aggression of Russia and the uncertainty of the United States as a security guarantor.

The document also includes an agreement to jointly develop long-range missiles (Deep Precision Strike) with a range exceeding 2,000 km, as well as provisions on trade, transportation, and migration.

According to the source, this agreement does not replace NATO's Article 5, which provides for collective defense.
