Today, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced his resignation. He announced this on his Telegram channel, thanking the country's defenders and President Volodymyr Zelensky for their trust.
Against the backdrop of the resignation, a process of changing executive power has begun in Ukraine. President Zelensky has proposed Yulia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, to head the new government.
Zelensky also stated that Denys Shmyhal's experience could be helpful in the post of Minister of Defense, emphasizing that the country's primary resources are currently concentrated in this area.
