A 6.7-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Indonesia. Local media reported this, stressing that there was no tsunami threat.
The earthquake was recorded on July 14 in the Banda Sea, near the Maluku Islands.
“The results of the analysis by the Indonesian Meteorological Agency showed that a 6.7-magnitude earthquake was recorded. The epicenter was located at a depth of 98 km,” the center reported.
As reported, the tremors were of medium intensity. They were felt in several regions.
