Germany is refusing to supply Ukraine with Taurus long-range cruise missiles, despite Russian air strikes and repeated requests from Kiev for supplies, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said in an interview with the Financial Times.
According to him, Germany currently lacks the opportunity to provide Ukraine with Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems, in addition to the three systems that have already been delivered in 2023-2024.
Pistorius noted that Germany currently has only six Patriot systems, two of which have been temporarily sent to Poland, and at least one is not permanently available for maintenance or training purposes.
