Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned that if Hamas does not disarm and cease its activities within the next 60 days, Israel is ready to resume military operations in the Gaza Strip.
Netanyahu noted that his government's goal is to eliminate Hamas's military and administrative capabilities.
"Our struggle will not end until Hamas is disbanded. This is a prerequisite for lasting peace," the prime minister stressed.
He also announced that he had reached agreements on this issue with former US President Donald Trump, both on the Gaza issue and on stabilizing the situation in the region and beyond. Netanyahu expressed confidence that Trump's participation could help resolve the problem.
