Port of Rotterdam prepares for possible military conflict with Russia

Europe's largest port, Rotterdam in the Netherlands, is beginning to redesign its infrastructure in preparation for a possible armed conflict between NATO and Russia. As reported by the British Financial Times on July 8, the port is already preparing storage areas for NATO supply ships and developing plans for cargo transportation in wartime conditions.

Rotterdam Port Director Budiven Simmons told the newspaper that he is currently negotiating with the neighboring port of Antwerp about the possibility of receiving ships and cargo from Britain, the United States, and Canada.

Antwerp is Europe's second-largest port and already regularly receives supply ships for the US military, which are stationed in Europe.
