Iran's Foreign Ministry is reportedly studying a US request to resume nuclear talks, according to Iranian sources, as cited by the state-run Mehr news agency.
According to the report, Washington has approached Tehran through intermediary channels with a proposal to resume talks after failing to halt Iran's nuclear capabilities. The discussions are expected to focus on controlling the atomic program, adjusting the level of enriched uranium, easing sanctions, and, reportedly, creating a mechanism for compensating for losses from the 12-day war.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry is discussing both the realism of the US demands and the format of the talks, should a decision be made to resume the process.
This could mark a new turning point in US-Iranian relations, shifting from a phase of political and diplomatic pressure to a path of exploring possible negotiated solutions.
