French President Emmanuel Macron wrote on his X page, referring to his phone conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan:
“I had an excellent phone conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. I expressed France’s solidarity in response to the attempts to destabilize Armenia’s democracy.
I also reaffirmed our support for his courageous efforts to establish peace with Azerbaijan and normalize relations with Turkey. Peace and open borders will be an essential development for the entire region and, for example, beyond its borders.”
