The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry expressed deep concern over the searches of Azerbaijani homes in Yekaterinburg by the Russian Federal Security Service on the morning of June 27, as a result of which Azerbaijanis were killed, some received serious injuries, and nine people were detained.
“We expect the Russian side to conduct an investigation into this incident immediately and to hold those responsible for this unacceptable act of violence accountable as soon as possible,” the statement said.
