US President Donald Trump will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky today to discuss Ukraine's problems.
"We'll discuss the obvious. We'll discuss his difficulties. He has some problems. Zelensky is a good man. I'll meet with him today. I don't know, I think we'll talk about Ukraine. Yes, that seems like the most likely topic," Trump said.
Regarding the prospects for resolving the conflict in Ukraine, Trump noted that progress is already being seen: "We'll see. I've talked to Putin a lot, he's been very kind. He offered to help with Iran. I said, no, I don't need help with Iran. I need help with Russia. But he was very kind. We'll talk about that. I think there's progress already," he added.
It should be noted that Zelensky is also participating in the NATO summit in the Netherlands.
