Iran fires missiles at US military bases in Qatar; explosions heard in Doha

Iran has fired 10 missiles at US military bases in Qatar, with explosions heard in Doha, local media reported.

Iran has also reportedly fired missiles at US forces in Iraq.

Qatar, the UAE, and Bahrain have closed their airspace until further notice.

Iranian state television reported that Iran had launched an operation against the US Al Udeid base in Qatar. The US air bases have been put on high alert, with personnel ordered to take shelter in bunkers.

The White House and the Pentagon said they knew of the potential threat to Qatar's Al Udeid air base and closely monitored the situation. US President Donald Trump is currently holding a meeting in the Situation Room with the Secretary of Defense and the Chiefs of Staff.
